Samsara Accessories

Our team built several accessory devices, often inspired from customer feedback. Users could immobilize stolen vehicles, monitor boom lifts or material spreaders, badge in or out of vehicles, or trigger events manually with a button. This enhanced the Samsara ecosystem.

Samsara Cables

Samsara plugged into a wide offering of vehicles, from sedans to vans, to tractors and yellow iron. Often these vehicles would have unique diagnostics ports, pinouts and mounting locations. We offered over two dozen cable SKUs.

The HW Product Design team was responsible to study and create an organized mapping of ports that Samsara was to plug into. We built a robust and repeatable method for designing, testing and manufacturing over two dozen SKUs of cable harnesses; from pin plating to sheathing and everything in between.

Often cables are underappreciated, but can easily be the weak link which brings down the entire product chain.
